We have listened to our subscribers and are proud to release the new look of the Libraries & Directories. This is our first major redesign since we opened in 1996.

The overall site structure and pages are still consistent with the previous version, we just have enhanced the usability and updated the look & feel of the site. For any bookmarks or links that come in, you will see the previous version of the website until you follow another link on our site. This way, you can update your bookmarks and links over time.

Highlights of the new look:

• New Logos - We have redesigned the logos for both the overall Libraries & Directories as well as each of the specific Libraries. The "beacons" are the key and will help navigate between all the Libraries & Directories [learn more].


• Member Account Area - You can now see your history with us and update your profile and account information at any time. Renewals and purchasing additional products can now be done easily online.


• No Frames - We have removed frames from the site for several reasons. The menu that used to be in the left hand frame is now just shown in the left hand column of the page. You may now need to scroll down to see some of the sub categories, but we are showing the main categories at all times.


• Bookmarks - We have added the ability for you to bookmark resources and add outside sites. You can organize your bookmarks in whatever fashion you would like. All annual subscribers will get this feature included in their subscription, other may have to pay additional fees.


• View the Resources you recently visited - We have created a "View Recent Resources" link in your personal right hand column area. This will display the resources you recently visited so you can easily return to valuable resources.


• "Notify a Colleague" - an option to email your colleague or friend appears in the right hand column on most pages. This is a simple 1 step process to send an email to your friend/colleague regarding our site. You can send topics or pages that might be of interest to them. All you need to know is their email address!


• Expanded Group Features - Group subscribers will be able to communicate and share resources, bookmarks and notes with other groups members! This should help communications between members and facilitate better use of our site.
